Words you’ll see when using Pelusium with EVE Frontier.

Glossary

Term	Meaning
Pelusium	Logistics tooling for EVE Frontier: on-chain freight jobs and SUI escrow, plus discovery features like shops and the Cargo Well.
Freight job	A contract on Sui that locks payment and tracks pickup → delivery between two SSUs.
SUI	The token used for escrow and fees on the Sui network (your wallet holds it).
SSU	Storage unit in EVE Frontier—where cargo sits at a structure. Jobs name a pickup and drop-off SSU.
Pelusium extension	Permission on an SSU so Pelusium can record pickup and delivery on-chain for jobs using that unit.
Shipper	Who creates the job and locks escrow (often the buyer or their representative).
Courier	Who accepts the job and completes pickup and delivery on-chain.
3D route planner	Visual map in Pelusium for exploring systems, building a proposed path, and copying the ordered route before committing to a haul.
Cargo mass	Weight used by the route planner when estimating ship jump performance.
Jump radius	Maximum distance for a jump in the route planner. It can come from the selected ship profile or from a manual override.
Shop	Storefront directory: player businesses listing cargo for sale from an SSU.
Cargo Well	Market board for one commodity type at a time—listed sells and standing buys to help you price and plan a haul.
Listing	A sell line: quantity, optional total price in SUI, notes, tied to a store.
Buy order / standing bid	A buy line: how much you want and what you’re willing to pay (per unit or “contact me”).
Settlement	When the job completes and escrow pays out per the on-chain rules (courier, seller if any, protocol).
Discovery	Seeing prices and counterparties in the app; settlement is the freight job on-chain.
Speculation pool	Experimental on-chain pools tied to job outcomes—see Speculation.

Behind the scenes: the on-chain program uses internal names for jobs and configuration—you don’t need those to play.
